Pengaruh Porting Polish Motif Dimple Terhadap Emisi Gas Buang pada Sepeda Motor Kawasaki D-Tracker 150 CC

Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis penggunaan jenis intake dan exhaust standar dan porting polish motif dimple dari RPM 1000 sampai dengan RPM 5000, Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kadar CO,CO² dan HC yang dihasilkan pada sepeda motor Kawasaki D-Tracker 150 CC dengan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen. Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan kenaikan kadar gas buang CO pada intake dan exhaust porting polish motif dimple dibandingkan dengan intake dan exhaust standar yaitu sebesar 62%. Didapatkan penurunan kadar gas buang CO² pada intake dan exhaust porting polish motif dimple dibandingkan dengan intake dan exhaust standar yaitu sebesar 21.28% dan didapatkan kenaikan kadar gas buang HC pada intake dan exhaust porting polish motif dimple dibandingkan dengan intake dan exhaust standar yaitu sebesar 28.12%. Sehingga didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa modifikasi porting polish motif dimple tidak efektif mengurangi emisi.
This research discusses the analysis of the use of standar intake and exhaust types and porting polish dimple motif from 1000 RPM to 5000 RPM. The purpose of this research was to determine the difference in CO, CO² and HC on a Kawasaki D-Tracker 150 CC motorcycle using an experimental research method. Based on the research, it was found that there was an increase in CO exhaust gas levels at the intake and exhaust porting polish dimple motif compared to the standard intake and exhaust, which was 62%. It was found that there was a decrease in CO2 exhaust gas levels at the porting polish dimple motif compared to the standard intake and exhaust, which was 21.28% and an increase in HC exhaust gas levels at the porting polish dimple motif compared to the standard intake and exhaust, which was 28.12%. So it can be concluded that the porting polish dimple motif modification is not effective in reducing exhaust emissions.
